What You Need To Know Before Towing a Towable Tube behind Your Boat

With summers around the corner, everyone is looking for new summertime hobbies. And in the middle of all these thrilling water sports towing an inflatable tube behind your boat might seem like an adrenaline filled task.

Fervent to the continuous efforts of Inflatable towable tubes manufacturers, inflatable tubes or boats have become just as safe if not more as the rigid ones. Riding an inflatable tube, tied to a boat is undoubtedly one of the most electrifying experiences of life. And your kids will love to spend an adventurous day by the beach. But riding a tube like that might prove to be a challenge, especially for those who are having little to no experience in boat riding. But if done properly with keeping safety measures in mind, it can easily be the best and most intoxicating memory of your life.

As a matter of course just like any other physical activity or water sport, there are fair chances of getting bumps and bruises every once in a while. But as long as you navigate safely there is no reason for you to get seriously hurt. By considering the below-mentioned tips and tricks you can enjoy a safe sea adventure.

Pack All The Essentials:

While you are thinking about taking the inflatable towing tube out for a spin, make sure you have packed all the necessities. And in case you are oblivious to these necessary items here is a list for you.

1. Life Jacket:

I cannot stress enough on the importance of a life jacket. Regardless of how good Inflatable towable tubes manufacturers are making these things today, never ever indulge yourself in a water sport with wearing government approved life jackets. This is a must for both people on the boat as well as the people on towed tubes, regardless of your age or how of a swimmer you think you are.

2. A Rope:

How else will you tow the inflatable tube without a rope? Get a good towrope which is strong enough to bear the tension caused. Compromising on the safety of towing rider is not an option right?

3. Orange Flag:

Highly optional, but being prepared just in case of an unpredicted emergency won’t harm you for sure.

Avoid Doing These:

Safety always comes first. And with that in mind try to ensure that you never ignore the following things:

1. Stop If The Rider Is Not Ready:

Before getting into the water, make sure that everyone is ready, this includes both, the inflatable rider and the boat crew. You can either have verbal communication or set some gestures for basic commands. With clear communication, the chances of damage are reduced to a certain level.

2. Add Speed Gradually:

Speed is the trill a rider wants. But it is important for the boat driver to add speed gradually. An abrupt change in the speed of the boat can catch the rider unexpectedly and cause them to turn loose the grip or toss into the water. Plus it can also cause the rope to disengage.

3. One Tube at a Time:

Chances are there are a lot of people willing to try out the new adventure but one boat should only pull one tube at a time. It is not impossible for the boat to carry them but the presence of more boats at a time will simply increase the risk of collision.

Tip You Should Follow:

1. Are There Any Hurdles:

The driver of the boat needs to ensure that there are no hurdles in the way of boat. As a driver, you are one who can provide the ultimate tubing experience for the riders. It is just like driving a car, make sure you do not bump into the other boat.

2. Turn Off The Engine:

You are not the only one going to a beach. There are a lot of people enjoying different water sports in the sea. And everyone’s safety matters, so it is advised to completely turn off the engine of the boat when people are around.

3. Riders Position:

Inflatable towable tubes manufacturers suggest that the rider should always ride within stomach down position. Not only that it is comfortable but it also reduces the chances of accidents. If you are riding either sitting or on your back, there is a chance that you might hit your head with your knees.

Wrap Up:

To conclude, riding a towable boat is harmless as long as you are ensuring the safety precautions. Remember it is a fun-filled activity and whether you are on the boat or on a tube, the life jacket should never be ignored.

Popular Winter Sports For This Winter Season

Winter is truly the most magical weather out of all seasons. Snow covers the ground like icing of cake with a perfect and thick blanket of white. Like many, I am also a winter lover. Unlike popular belief, winter does not confine you to stay in your house in front of a fireplace. If you do spend winters like that you are missing out on so many fun-filled activities. Sledding, skiing, snowboarding and a new winter sports snow tubing which was made possible by unique designs of inflatable snow tube manufacturer. These are the activities which require some sort of equipment. The winter activities which require minimum effort are building a snowman, making snow angels and the best of all snowball fights.

However, if you feel that you are too old for laying on snow and playing with snowballs like an adolescent, we have some good winter sports for grownups too. I am grateful for low temperatures, they enable us to witness the magnificent snow and we get to enjoy the fun winter sports. All these sports require safety precautions you don’t want to get injured while everyone around you is having fun. Every winter sport requires layers of clothing as well. If you want to enjoy winters at the fullest you need your body to stay warm. If you don’t wear sufficient clothes, your body will need to spend the energy to get you warm. So don’t forget to wear warm clothes and use your energy to have fun instead. You may find it odd that our skin needs sunscreen even in winters. Make sure to apply a sunblock of up to SPF 15 on your face, lips, and neck.

Sledding:

One of the most enjoyed snow sport is sledding. Whooshing down a hill at what feels like thousand miles a minute is sure a thrilling way to spend your winters. As long as you land safely. Get a sled which is sturdy and easy to steer. Don’t forget to wear a helmet to avoid any serious injury if you meet an accident. Mittens and gloves can help your hands remain rash free. Also, try not to use plastic bags or garbage can lid as sleds, they are dangerous.

Snow Tubing:

Tubing is a relatively new leisure activity for thrill seekers. With so many new designs and properties of tubes by inflatable snow tube manufacturer in the market, this activity is becoming a favorite among families and friends. It is similar to sledding, however instead of a sled rider is on an inflatable tube down a special slope meant for tubing. This tube can spin in different directions. This is the best type of sport for individuals who can’t ski or snowboard or sled.

Ice Skating:

All the ice sports follow one basic rule: “only skate on approved ice” This rule is the most applicable on ice skating. Gliding across the ice is as fun as it gets, even falling and toppling over during ice skating is fun. Make sure that you get fit skates for you to decrease the chances of falling over.

Skiing and Snowboarding:

Skiing and snowboarding is the most famous winter sport of all time. We need proper equipment for skiing and snowboarding. Both these sports need properly fitting equipment, as too big equipment will make it harder for you to control yourself while skiing. Helmets are necessary for them too, better safe than sorry right.
